People Power Fatigue?

The Arroyo government and its allies say that the Filipino people are tired of people power. Does this mean that the Filipino people are tired of condemning massive electoral fraud, putting a stop to extrajudicial killings and enforced disappearances, resisting repression, fighting corruption, struggling against hunger and poverty? That is wishful thinking on the part of the Arroyo government and it goes against the tide of history.

In The News: Militants push for Arroyo’s ouster

MILITANTS in Negros Oriental are now joining the calls from both the church and civic groups in campaigning for the ouster of President Gloria Macapagal -Arroyo.

The militant groups that are aggressively campaigning for the ouster of President Arroyo are Motor-Piston Dumaguete (transport group), Anakbayan (youth group) and the League of Filipino Students (student sector).

Protests in 15 cities nationwide on February 25
