Welcome to the new LFS.PH!

We would first like to thank KarlC for the astig design and Divs for all the help in maintaining the LFS online tambayan.

We would also like to thank YOU, who regularly visited the site, those who are subscribed via RSS or email, those who comment, those who do not comment but read every article released. Astig kayo!

We also never had the chance to thank www.kilusan.net for graciously hosting our previous site lfs.kilusan.net for free since 2004 up to around October of 2007 when we decided to transfer to lfs.ph. Utang na loob namin sa kilusan.net ang pagkakakilala namin sa html basics at online media.

Since we moved to lfs.ph, we got different kinds of feedback. Most liked the new look, which was clean fresh and web 2.0 inspired. Some didn’t love it so much because it lacked the “militant LFS feel” and it was too “chummy” daw. Hehe.

Because we were getting a little tired of the old design, and we have to admit, we haven’t been really posting original articles lately aside from press statements and releases. We wanted a renewal of the website, hence, the redesign.

Along with the redesign is our commitment to post original content on a moreĀ  regular basis. We want the site to look like a team blog/web zine, and we are encouraging contributions from members and student leaders. We utilized a simple modern grunge design, which is uso among websites these days and chose an “OP (operation pinta)”-like brick red color as a background.

So, what do you think of the LFS.PH redesign?

Please drop your comments, spread the news of our relaunch and throw back some link love to us. If you still haven’t subscribed to us, it’s never too late to click here and do so.
