To all who signed up via “Join LFS”

We would like to thank the hundreds who submitted their application for membership via our Join LFS page.

We apologize to the people who have yet to recieve a respones from the web team. Honestly, we were overwhelmed by the number of people who submitted applications, and our facilities were not yet capable of referring each one of the applications.

However, we would like to inform everyone that we receive each one of your messages and all applications are DEEMED APPROVED. We just have to put up an efficient system to refer you to the chapter nearest to you.

While waiting for our response, please feel free to participate in any of the LFS activities and consider yourself a member. While we’re at it, here are ideas on how you can participate:

1. Help out the LFS.PH team. Actively promote the LFS website, comment on the posts and/or submit an article, photo or video. You can enter submissions via the Join LFS page or by emailing lfsphilippines@gmail.com. Encourage your friends to visit and subscribe to www.lfs.ph.

2. Organize for real. Build a chapter in your school. Recruit members and plan events. Learn more here.

3. Stick around. We will be putting in place a better method of recruiting and referring members. Stay tuned and subscribe.

Thank you for your support. We are posting some of the submitted feedback and requests here.

I am J, 17, a working student at a state university here in Metro
Manila. I want to join LFS simply because i want to know more what can I really
do for my community. I was just a new imigrant here so I dont have any contact
in your organization to guide and inform me about registration, forum and other
youth activities here. -JB

I would like to join because I can no longer keep quiet on the current state of
this nation. I, strongly, would like to contribute to efforts to make a change
in society.. Plus, I can’t stand how my university is run as a mere business
rather than a venue for learning and that many students seem apathetic about it.
I believe that the youth are catalysts of change yet I see a lot of apathy in
our university. There are a lot of unexplained fees and I can’t exacly say that
we get what our parents payed for. Even the school newspaper can’t be too
critical of the admin. I want to join LFS because I want to contribute
something, though little it may be.-XC

i wish to ask a membership within your organization
in order to know better the rights that are entitled to the students of LUCNAS
and also to seek a solution to the problem which plagues my fellow nursing
students.  i understand that the fight is mostly in manila and the surrounding
areas, but i wish to extend this fight also to another malignant tumor, in the
northern provinces.  something smells fishy in this part of the philippines, and
along with my colleagues, wish to be at the front lines here in the provinces.

please consider our plea to your organization and consider our membership in
the LFS.  our elections are coming soon, around the second week of july, and i
am one of the candidates for president of the SBO of our school.  i need your
help and guidance.
