Show your support against “an education for contractualization”. Join the youth as they run along with workers of Co Ban Kiat Warehouse Worker’s Union to campaign against K+12 and contractualization.
The workers went on strike May 23 this year when the management of Co Ban Kiat Hardware, Inc. (supplier of Ace Hardware and various construction companies) retrenched its workers in an attempt to weaken the worker’s union which fought firmly against their contractual status and the abuses they experience from their supervisors.
Known athletes are expected to participate including one of the country’s elite runners and President of Cobankiat Workers Union, Mr. Reggie Lumauag.
